Arriving at the meeting point

You will be picked up from your hotel in Nafplio, or at any specified location within Nafplio, at 11:00 AM. There is also a 6:00 PM walking tour option.

Make your way to the heart of the old city

Starting from the Land Gate, you will then enter the walls of the old city and visit the Cathedral and the square of Saint Spiridon, where Ioannis Kapodistrias, the first Governor of Greece, was murdered.

Continue on the walk to Syntagma Square

After arriving at Syntagma Square, the heart of the city, your path leads you exploring the historic buildings from different periods such as the Archaeological Museum, the Vouleftikon that housed the first parliament of the free Greek state and the Old Mosque.

End our journey at the old port

You will then head down to the little peaceful old port to explore the Venetian fortress of Bourtzi, the trademark of the city, built on the island of Agioi Theodoroi. After the walk, you may then be escorted back to your hotel. Though we humbly suggest that you stick around and get acquainted with the rest of the town, as there is much to see and do in Nafplio.
